Heartache…Heartbreak…and Longing…

…Whether listening to my favorite singers and songwriters explore the many facets of these very human conditions, or attempting to express them in my own way in songwriting…these are among my most comfortable musical regions. I have no idea why, other than that we each have different ways of connecting…getting in touch with ourselves…soothing our souls…and this happens to be one of mine.

I am not a prolific songwriter, by any means, but as just another layer of explaining why this Connecticut Yankee is drawn to the South and Texas, here are seven very plain, stripped-down, rough around the edges, renditions of mine. I hope you enjoy them…
